Job summary

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners in Las Vegas area seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists by performing diagnostic tests and clinical duties.

Requires at least 1 year experience as an ophthalmic technician; high school diploma or GED; COA certification preferred; customer-facing experience favored.

Role includes testing like visual fields, OCT, venipuncture, and ensuring HIPAA privacy; generous benefits and ongoing education opportunities available.

Qualifications

• One year experience as an ophthalmic technician is required.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification is preferred.
• One year experience in a customer facing position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform specialized eye exam testing while streamlining patient flow.
• May assist with inventory of ophthalmic supplies, including pharmaceuticals and instruments on a regular basis.
• Provides phone support with request for prescription refills as authorized by the physician.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
• May perform other duties as necessary.
