Children’s Wisconsin seeks a full-time ophthalmic technician to assist in diagnostic testing under the supervision of an ophthalmologist. The role includes performing retinoscopy, vision field tests, and contact lens fitting across three clinics in Milwaukee, New Berlin, and Mequon.
Hours are 40 per week, typically 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays. CPR/BLS certification is required before start date and equivalent ophthalmic experience will be considered.

The person in this role administers & performs diagnostic tests, and provides instruction to patients with correctable vision focusing defects, under the medical direction of a licensed ophthalmologist.
