Job summary

SVS Vision, Inc. in Liberty, MO is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to provide clinical support for the Doctor of Optometry (OD) and to help increase patient satisfaction and exam efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assists in improving exam efficiency and elevating patient experience.
• Communicates with the retail office management and staff.
• Prepares the clinic day with strong organizational skills.
• Performs refraction and related ophthalmic measurements.
• Conducts case history review including current medical conditions.
• Performs non-contact tonometry, auto-refractor, visual acuity testing, and blood pressure measurement.
• Operates lensometer, visual field testing, fundus photography, OCT testing, and eye drop instillation.
• Performs additional clinical procedures as directed by the supervising OD.
