Job summary

Eye Health America is seeking an ophthalmic technician to support doctors in eye examinations across Clemson Eye clinics. You will gather patient information, perform measurements, and assist with procedures, with travel to multiple locations as needed.

A high school diploma and driver’s license are required. Ongoing training and growth opportunities are available within a supportive network of eye care professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active and valid Driver’s License.
• Two years of work experience and/or Ophthalmic Assistant Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in eye examinations and patient workups.
• Take ocular measurements, both anatomical and functional.
• Prepare or administer medications as needed.
• Provide eye care information to patients and assist with procedures.
• Travel to different clinic locations as required.
