SVS Vision, Inc. is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to provide clinical support to the Doctor of Optometry (OD) and help elevate patient satisfaction and exam efficiency.

The role reports to the Professional Services Department within a regular full-time schedule in Liberty, MO. Responsibilities include refraction, various diagnostic tests, and assisting with the clinic day while maintaining professional communication with staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Assists in improving exam efficiency and elevating patient experience.
• Communicates with the retail office management and staff.
• Prepares the clinic day with strong organizational skills.
• Refraction.
• Case history review including current medical conditions.
• Non-Contact tonometry.
• Auto-refractor.
• Visual acuity testing.
• Blood pressure measurement.
• Lensometer.
• Visual field testing.
• Fundus photography.
• OCT testing.
• Eye drop instillation.
• Additional clinical procedures requested by the supervising OD that falls within the scope of knowledge of the Ophthalmic Technician.
• Hands off patient care to the OD.
