Qualifications

• One year as Ophthalmic Technician/Assistant OR two years as a technician in an Optometry clinic.
• COA or COT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interacts professionally with patients daily and prepares them for exams.
• Performs diagnostic testing and ophthalmic imaging (OCT, visual fields, etc.).
• Enters information into Electronic Medical Record and transports patients.
• Assists physicians and ophthalmic technicians in the clinic.
• Maintains exam rooms and handles supplies.
