Job summary

University Clinical Health in Memphis is seeking a PRN Patient Call Center Coordinator to support front-line patient interactions in ophthalmology. You will triage needs, process refills, schedule, and convey clear information to patients and providers.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, education, chart documentation, and coordination with physicians. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of clinical experience are required; COA is preferred.

• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• COA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient contact via call center to assess urgency and needs.
• Submit prescription refills as instructed by physicians.
• Coordinate patient care and scheduling with providers and staff.
• Document patient interactions and maintain chart accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

This position talks directly with patients through our call center. Determines urgency of patients needs based on brief assessment and familiarity with patients condition and history. Submits refill of prescriptions as instructed by physician.

Requirements
