Job summary

St Paul Eye Clinic PA in Woodbury, Minnesota, is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support comprehensive ophthalmic testing and imaging in a busy private practice. The role includes taking visual acuity measurements, performing IOP checks, dilating pupils, and capturing fundus photos, OCT, and topography as part of patient care.

Qualifications

• Ophthalmology/optometry clinic experience preferred.
• Experience with ophthalmic photography and documentation in EMR.
• Familiarity with ocular testing including visual acuity, IOP, pupil function, dilations, OCT and topography.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with ophthalmic testing and imaging.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during exams.
• Document findings in EMR and communicate results to team.

Description:

St. Paul Eye Clinic is an Ophthalmology & Optometry clinic that is privately owned. We have 19 providers and 6 locations in the East Metro. We are seeking Ophthalmic Assistants or Technicians with the following skills:

• COT,COA-Retina Photography Experience Preferred
• Scribe Electronic Medical Records
• Visual Acuity
• Intra-ocular pressure
• Pupil function
• Dilation with eye-drops
• Special testing experience including Fundus Photography, OCT and Topography
• Great attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Excellent patient care
