Northwest Eye Surgeons in Sequim is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our nationally recognized eye care team. No ophthalmic experience is required—we will train the right candidate.

You’ll perform patient workups, assist with examinations, and operate diagnostic testing equipment under ophthalmologists’ supervision. This role emphasizes patient education, efficient clinic flow, and compassionate care in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with ophthalmic equipment is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

What You'll Do

As an Ophthalmic Technician, you'll help create a smooth, positive experience for patients while supporting physicians in providing high-quality eye care. Responsibilities include:

• Perform patient workups and assist with ocular examinations.
• Conduct specialized diagnostic testing and accurately document examination findings and treatment recommendations.
• Administer ophthalmic medications and assist with in-office laser procedures.
• Provide patient education and assist with treatments, dressings, and other clinical needs.
• Monitor patient flow and communicate appointment status updates to support an efficient clinic.
• Partner with ophthalmologists and the clinical team to ensure patients receive attentive, compassionate care.
