Spectrum Vision Partners and OCLI Vision are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technical Supervisor in Philadelphia, PA to lead the clinical team and maintain exceptional patient care. You will supervise technicians, manage schedules, and assist with hiring while coordinating workflow and clinical operations.

The role requires hands-on leadership, oversight of Level II technician duties, and collaboration with physicians to ensure efficient patient exams and diagnostic testing such as OCT and

Competenze

  • Experience as an Ophthalmic Technician with the ability to perform all Level II technician responsibilities.
  • Experience performing OCT, Visual Fields, Corneal Topography, Fundus Photography, and other ophthalmic testing.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience using NextGen or another electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Professionalism and commitment to patient confidentiality.

  • Order supplies and monitor equipment maintenance.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs and replacements.
  • Balance clinical responsibilities with administrative tasks.
  • Respond promptly to emails and operational requests.
  • Help ensure compliance with office policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $59,000.00 To $68,000.00 Annually

What You'll Do
Clinical Leadership

Supervise and support the clinical technical team

Create and manage staff schedules

What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications

Experience as an Ophthalmic Technician with the ability to perform all Level II technician responsibilities

Experience performing OCT, Visual Fields, Corneal Topography, Fundus Photography, and other ophthalmic testing

Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Experience using NextGen or another electronic medical records (EMR) system

Certification

Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) through JCAHPO, or the ability to obtain certification within one year of hire
