Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a compassionate ophthalmology support assistant to join the Burnet Campus team. You will aid clinicians with diagnostic procedures, perform patient intake, and help prepare equipment for examinations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with no direct related experience; a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant is preferred. The position is full-time (40 hours weekly) with potential pay differentials based on experience and equity considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Test measurements and direct patient care by assisting clinicians with diagnostic procedures (strabismus, vision tests, tonometry, etc.).
  • Technical support: maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies, escort patients, and complete school or other forms.
