Qualifications

• Surgical technician training required.
• 3+ years in ophthalmic operating room preferred.
• Certification through NBSTSA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist practitioner and RN in rendering professional care to patients during surgeries.
• Prepare operating room for planned procedures and ensure aseptic technique.
• Handle instruments, gowning/gloving, and assist with patient transfer.
• Maintain inventory, update preference cards, and support room turnover.
