Job summary

Sight360 is seeking a Surgery Scrub Technician to support ophthalmic procedures in the operating room. You will prepare unsterile equipment, assist the surgical team, and ensure sterile technique throughout procedures.

Minimum 2 years in ophthalmic surgical scrubbing is required; CPR certification is mandatory, and Surgical Technologist credentials are preferred. Excellent teamwork and attention to patient privacy are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Ophthalmic Surgery Scrub Technician.
• Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in the operating room as the scrub technician.
• Assist with gowning and gloving other team members.
• Prepare the operating room and sterile supplies for surgery.
• Assist with skin preparation and patient draping.
• Maintain sterile technique and handle sterile instruments.
• Manage sponges, instruments, and needle counts with staff.
