Job summary

Sight360 is seeking an experienced Surgery Scrub Technician to join our operating room team in Brandon, FL. The role supports the surgical team by preparation of unsterile equipment and supplies, sterile technique, and patient safety throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Ophthalmic Surgery Scrub experience, CPR certification, and a preference for Certified Surgical Technologist credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Ophthalmic Surgery Scrub Technician.
• Current CPR certification – required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a scrub technician in the operating room.
• Assists with gowning and gloving other members of the surgical team.
• Assists with preparation of the operating room for procedures.
• Assists with skin preparations and patient draping.
• Maintains sterile techniques and equipment.
• Handles specimens according to procedures.
• Participates in sponge, instrument, and needle counts.
