ReFocus Eye Health in Connecticut is seeking an Ophthalmic Scribe to join our busy multi-site ophthalmology practice (10 satellite locations). The role emphasizes accurate documentation in the EMR and collaboration with physicians to support efficient patient flow.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a team player, and committed to learning CPSS exam within 6 months. Travel to satellite offices may be required; a professional appearance and confidentiality are expected.

Qualificações

• Document physician findings in the EMR.
• Transcribe impressions, plans, test results, prescriptions and orders as dictated.
• Assist with office procedures and patient education.
• Maintain patient encounter coding for visits and tests.
• Commit to learning new skills and master within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Document the physician's findings in the EMR.
• Transcribe impressions, plans, test results, prescriptions, and orders.
• Assist with patient flow and anticipate physician and patient needs.
• Administer eye drops as requested by physicians.
• Assist physicians with office procedures and patient education.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain a clean workspace.
• Travel to satellite offices as needed with reliable transportation.
