Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Photographer to assist ophthalmologists by performing high-quality photographs and preliminary testing in a clinic setting. The role involves retinal photography, OCT, and iris/vascular imaging to document pathology for exam planning.

The ideal candidate has strong photography skills, attention to detail, and comfort with EMR systems. The position is based in Blue Ash, OH, with travel to affiliated locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current COA/COT certification preferred.
• Favorable background check required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform color stereo retinal photography and angiography with IV start.
• External ocular photography and OCT; assist physicians as needed.
• Use EMR; may scribe for physicians.
• Review patient history including medications and allergies.
• Measure visual acuity and record refraction preliminaries.
• Measure intraocular pressures and assess pupillary response.
• Prepare patients for treatments and assist with procedures.
• Maintain rooms, supplies, and equipment; assist with maintenance.
