OMNI OPHTHALMIC MANAGEMENT in West Orange, NJ seeks a dedicated Pre/Post-Op Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional perioperative care within a multi-specialty ophthalmology group. You will admit patients, perform pre-op assessments, and guide post-operative recovery to ensure safety and comfort.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with anesthesia and surgical teams.

Qualifications

• RN license in state ( CT specified in ad)
• 4-year nursing degree required
• Experience in ophthalmic operative procedures a plus

Responsibilities

• Admit patients and conduct pre-op assessments
• Post-operative monitoring and care after surgery
• Document patient status clearly and accurately
• Administer treatments and honor physician orders
• Provide post-op education and follow-up calls
• Maintain accurate OR logs and sterile field
• Support anesthesia, scrub, and medical staff in the OR
• Prepare and check equipment, supplies, and meds
