Job summary

Panorama Eyecare is seeking a Registered Nurse-Circulator PRN to join the perioperative team at The Surgery Center in Lakewood, CO. You will support patient care during operative and procedural phases, collaborating with anesthesia and surgical staff to ensure safety and efficiency.

The role requires Colorado RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS within three months, and OR experience with ophthalmology. This PRN position offers hourly compensation based on experience and certification, with flexibility

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Colorado nursing license.
• Must complete BLS, ACLS and PALS certification within three months of hire.
• Two years of operating room experience required.
• Experience in ophthalmology and outpatient surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating nurse duties within the ambulatory surgery center with efficiency and safety.
• Ensure aseptic technique and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.
• Assist anesthesia providers with intubation and extubation as needed.
• Document nursing interventions accurately and report any incidents in a timely manner.
• Assist in stocking medications and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Facilitate smooth patient flow and communication with physicians and staff.
