Rochester Regional Health's Reed Eye Center in Pittsford and Greece seeks an Ophthalmic Imaging Specialist to perform advanced imaging and support providers and residents in diagnosing ocular disease. You will manage multiple imaging modalities with accuracy and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities include OCT imaging, fundus photography, ocular biometrics, quality control, training teammates, and maintaining a case database for educational purposes in a fast-paced ophthalmology setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Photography or OCT-C certification or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant.
• Ophthalmology imaging experience preferred; 2+ years of ophthalmology experience if hired after 05/01/2026.

Responsabilités

• Perform OCT imaging and photography across multiple modalities (fundus, FAF, fluorescein/ICG angiography, anterior/posterior segment OCT, slit lamp photography).
• Perform Ophthalmic Diagnostic Testing (OCT, biometrics, topography, pachymetry, specular microscopy, visual fields, tonometry).
• Continuously evaluate imaging quality and collaborate with team to improve imaging processes.
• Maintain a case database for education and journals for physicians.
• Train established and new technicians on imaging and diagnostic equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
