The University of Miami, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, is seeking a full time Ophthalmic Imager 2 in Miami, Florida. Ophthalmic Imager 2 (OI2) is proficient in the theory, principles, and practice of eye care. OI2 documents in the EMR system and performs ocular diagnostic testing using specialized instrumentation in compliance with department standards.
Core Job Functions:
Ophthalmic Imager 2 performs ocular diagnostic testing using specialty-specific imaging instruments, documents procedures and uploads images into the electronic medical record.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Certifications and Licensing: Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT-C) or Certified Retinal Angiographer (CRA).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
