Job summary

Sight360 is seeking an Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technician to perform diagnostic testing including fundus photography, OCTs, and visual fields across clinic locations. Travel between sites and overtime may be required to meet operational needs.

The role involves handling patient workups, administering eye medications as needed, and ensuring accurate EMR documentation while complying with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in Ophthalmology.
• Certification preferred.
• HIPAA compliance expected.

Responsibilities

• Open/close diagnostic area and maintain equipment and rooms.
• Perform tests per physician orders.
• Perform visual field testing: Humphrey.
• Perform OCT testing: Heidelberg and Cirrus.
• Fundus photography.
• External photography.
• Corneal topography: Atlas and Pentacam.
• Transfer test results to EMR accurately and timely.
• Update patient records in EMS or related systems.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations in all interactions with patient information.
