Eye Clinic of Wisconsin is seeking a Research Coordinator to support the Director of Clinical Research and physicians in the design, implementation, and analysis of ophthalmic clinical studies. The role includes developing protocols, data collection and interpretation, and serving as a patient counselor to ensure clear information.

The position requires strong verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or relative experience of more than 3 years.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, families and external individuals and agencies.
• Demonstrates flexibility and ability to take on new responsibilities as assigned.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve complex problems with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Director of Clinical Research and physicians in design, implementation, and analysis of ophthalmic clinical research studies.
• Assist in developing research protocols and data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Serve as patient counselor to provide clear information.
• Schedule participant appointments and act as patient liaison between Director and physicians.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient health information and ensure ethical conduct in research.
