Hattiesburg Clinic seeks a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician (COA/T) to perform routine ophthalmic tasks and support physicians and staff in patient care. You will handle refractions, ascan, visual acuity, color testing, pupil evaluations, visual field testing, and dilation drops, while understanding ophthalmology terminology and using instruments correctly.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• COA certification or higher preferred.
• Experience in ophthalmology setting/clinic preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist and scribe the physician on all patients as needed.
• Perform routine ophthalmic duties including refractions, ascan, visual acuity, color testing, pupil evaluations, visual field testing, and dilation drops.

Educación

High school diploma or equivalent

Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification or higher

Experience in ophthalmology setting/clinic

BLS/CPR certification
