Works under minimum supervision to provide assistance in routine technical procedures, gathering data, and administering treatments. Performs tasks of routine and standardized nature.
High School Diploma
2 years of experience in medical or related field.
Preferred completion of basic and advanced home-study courses approved by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology within one year of the hire date.
Experience in eye care is preferred.
