Job summary

Houston Eye Associates is seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant to work with ophthalmologists, performing preliminary tests and measurements, and preparing patients for examinations. You will assist with in-office procedures, manage room readiness, and help with scribing as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess strong eye care knowledge and clinical testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist ophthalmologists by performing basic to complex preliminary eye tests and measurements.
• Stock, prepare, and maintain clean exam rooms; review patient charts for accuracy.
