Job summary

UF Health in Florida is seeking a capable Ophthalmic Assistant to support an ophthalmology practice under the supervision of an ophthalmologist and registered nurse. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists physician with in-office procedures, refraction, and slit lamp exams.
• Operates automated/manual visual field analyzers and ophthalmic equipment.
• Knowledge of ocular pharmacology; performs clinic operations tasks as assigned.
• Safely triage patients.
• Maintains patient records.
• Completes data collection while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
