Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains patient records and schedules appointments in IDX.

  • Answers phones, greets patients, verifies correct billing information and prepares chart for office visit.

  • Assists with the clinical work up of patients, including visual acuity, applanation pressures, history, keratometry, autorefraction, color vision, stereopsis and EYESYS.

  • Instructs patient in the proper care and insertion/removal of contact lenses. Modifies and/or polishes contacts.

  • Maintains inventory of materials and cleans instruments. Maintains examination rooms and supplies.

Salary Range
$17.34 - $25.40 / Hourly The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
