American Vision Partners (AVP) seeks an Ophthalmic Assistant to prepare patients for exams, collect medical information, and perform preliminary tests with a focus on high-quality patient care. You will assist in exams, tests, and minor procedures while maintaining a clean, efficient clinic environment.
The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, with 1 year ophthalmology experience preferred. COA/COT is nice-to-have; schedule is Monday through Friday in a fast-paced setting.

As an Ophthalmic Assistant, you’ll be responsible for preparing the patient for the exam with the doctor. You’ll gather important medical information from the patient, perform preliminary tests, and gather measurements while providing highest quality of care and an exceptional patient experience.
