Job summary

Sabert Corporation in Shepherdsville, KY is hiring an Operator Trainee in Production. You will learn procedures to operate an extruder/thermoformer and support the production schedule.

You will wear PPE, follow safety and GMP policies, perform line setup and quality checks, and record results. This is a full-time hourly role with growth opportunities within Sabert.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Must wear all assigned safety PPE at all times.
• Able to perform lockout–tagout procedures.
• Able to operate hand tools.
• Knowledge of setting up blender systems and weigh hopper startup.

Responsibilities

• Learn the procedures to operate an extruder/thermoformer as a Level 1 Operator and follow production schedules.
• Ensure supplies needed for production runs are available and properly stocked.
• Perform quality checks including weight, form, lid fit, sheet thickness, water leak tests and CPET oven tests.
• Adhere to safety policies, GMPs, and reporting requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
