Job summary

Kraton Corporation in Pensacola, FL is seeking a production/operator team member to support resin packaging and related duties on the shift. The role requires practical mechanical skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities include operating packaging equipment, handling shipping/receiving, and completing required documentation. Proactive housekeeping and adherence to safety standards are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Chemical operator certificate or degree is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing is preferred.
• Forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate resin flake packaging equipment including general maintenance.
• Shipping and receiving of raw and processed goods on tanker trucks and trailers.
• Complete appropriate documentation for shipping and receiving.
• Perform housekeeping to manage combustible dust hazards.
• Perform general industrial tasks as needed (painting, labeling, cleaning).
• Complete required safety training and maintain qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

• Safely operate resin flake packaging equipment including general maintenance (e.g. inspection, cleaning, lubricating)
• Shipping and receiving of raw and processed goods on tanker trucks and trailers.
• Complete appropriate documentation for shipping and receiving.
• Perform housekeeping activities to manage combustible dust hazards.
• Perform general industrial tasks as needed (e.g. painting, labelling, cleaning, etc.)
• Complete required safety training and maintain job qualifications.
