Job summary

SMC Ltd. located in Town of Somerset, Wisconsin, is looking for an Operator to join our team. In this role, you’ll manufacture and assemble parts for lifesaving medical devices using automated injection molding machines. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and preferably experience in a production or clean room environment.

Typical day in the life of an Operator:

• You’ll be directly involved in the manufacturing process and operate automated injection molding machines, making high-precision plastic parts for a variety of world class clients. These parts are put into medical and industrial devices that are used by thousands of people around the globe every day.
• You’ll use precision measuring instruments, visually inspect products and report surface and dimension defects, and sometimes package them using a variety of tools, including robots. Depending on the job, sometimes you’ll put some of the parts together by hand.

• 1st | 6:00am-2:30pm
• 2nd | 2:00pm-10:30pm
• 3rd | 10:00pm-6:30am
