Job summary

Lactalis American Group in Nampa, Idaho, is hiring a Palletizer Operator, Level I, to efficiently stack finished product on pallets, ensure correct labeling, and maintain accurate box counts on the line.

You will work with forklift-friendly processes, follow safety rules, and collaborate with line workers and supervisors to keep daily production flowing. High school or GED preferred; 1–2 years of palletization experience is a plus, and adaptability in wet, hot conditions is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years of experience in machine operations and palletization.
• Experience with CIP and COP.
• No specialized knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Stacks finished product neatly on pallets.
• Affixes boxes to pallets with shrink wrap for forklift movement.
• Ensures correct labeling and completes the finished goods sheet.
• Maintains open communication with line workers and supervisor.
• Performs sanitation duties as assigned.

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Palletizer Operator, Level I. The Palletizer operator is responsible for placing packaged and boxed products onto the pallet and maintaining an accurate count of boxes. Ensures that each box contains the correct labeling, coding, and other box markings. Assumes the responsibility for the operational flow of the line. Adheres to all policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Stacks finished product neatly on pallets.


• Affixes boxes to pallets with shrink wrap so pallet may be moved by forklift drivers.


• Ensures labeling is correct and legibly displayed and completes the finished goods sheet.


• Interact with associates to maintain efficient process flow.


• Maintain open line of communication with all the line workers and supervisor.


• Perform sanitation duties as assigned.


• Report problems and/or concerns to the on-duty supervisor


• Attend departmental meetings and training as assigned.


• Apply the safety rules and ensure they are implemented and followed.


• Take necessary measures if people are performing unsafe acts or are in an unsafe environment.


• Perform other work duties as assigned

Education

• High School Diploma or completion of GED preferred but not required.

Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in machine operations and palletization


• Experience with CIP and COP

• Comfortable working in wet, hot, and humid conditions for extended periods


• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once with frequent interruptions

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning productions


• Ability and willingness to adhere to attendance requirements, including regular and punctual attendance


• Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds


• Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe work.
