Job summary

Lactalis USA is hiring a Palletizer Operator, Level I, to manage palletizing and packaging workflows on the production line at our Idaho facility. You will stack, wrap, label, and move finished goods with attention to accuracy and safety.

Qualified applicants have 1–2 years in machine operations and palletization, basic CIP/COP familiarity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years of experience in machine operations and palletization.
• Experience with CIP and COP processes.

Responsibilities

• Stacks finished product on pallets.
• Affixes boxes to pallets and applies shrink wrap.
• Ensures correct labeling and finishes paperwork.

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Palletizer Operator, Level I. The Palletizer operator is responsible for placing packaged and boxed products onto the pallet and maintaining an accurate count of boxes. Ensures that each box contains the correct labeling, coding, and other box markings. Assumes the responsibility for the operational flow of the line. Adheres to all policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities For This Position Include

• Stacks finished product neatly on pallets.
• Affixes boxes to pallets with shrink wrap so pallet may be moved by forklift drivers.
• Ensures labeling is correct and legibly displayed and completes the finished goods sheet.
• Interact with associates to maintain efficient process flow.
• Maintain open line of communication with all the line workers and supervisor.
• Perform sanitation duties as assigned.
• Report problems and/or concerns to the on-duty supervisor
• Attend departmental meetings and training as assigned.
• Apply the safety rules and ensure they are implemented and followed.
• Take necessary measures if people are performing unsafe acts or are in an unsafe environment.
• Perform other work duties as assigned

Education

• High School Diploma or completion of GED preferred but not required.

Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in machine operations and palletization
• Experience with CIP and COP
