Job summary

Lactalis USA in Nampa, Idaho is hiring a Palletizer Operator, Level I to ensure efficient palletization of finished goods, accurate counting, and proper labeling. You will work on the production line, stack finished product neatly, and coordinate with others to maintain a smooth workflow in a wet, hot, and humid environment.

No specialized degrees required; 1-2 years in machine operations; CIP/COP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years of experience in machine operations and palletization.
• Experience with CIP and COP.
• Able to work in wet, hot, and humid conditions for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stacks finished product neatly on pallets.
• Affixes boxes to pallets with shrink wrap for forklift movement.
• Ensures labeling is correct and complete on finished goods sheet.
• Maintains open communication with line workers and supervisor.
• Performs sanitation duties as assigned.

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Palletizer Operator, Level I. The Palletizer operator is responsible for placing packaged and boxed products onto the pallet and maintaining an accurate count of boxes. Ensures that each box contains the correct labeling, coding, and other box markings. Assumes the responsibility for the operational flow of the line. Adheres to all policies and procedures.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Stacks finished product neatly on pallets.
• Affixes boxes to pallets with shrink wrap so pallet may be moved by forklift drivers.
• Ensures labeling is correct and legibly displayed and completes the finished goods sheet.
• Interact with associates to maintain efficient process flow.
• Maintain open line of communication with all the line workers and supervisor.
• Perform sanitation duties as assigned.
• Report problems and/or concerns to the on-duty supervisor.
• Attend departmental meetings and training as assigned.
• Apply the safety rules and ensure they are implemented and followed.
• Take necessary measures if people are performing unsafe acts or are in an unsafe environment.
• Perform other work duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or completion of GED preferred but not required.

Experience

• . 1-2 years of experience in machine operations and palletization
• Experience with CIP and COP
