Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: performing mat rolling by machine, by hand on an inverted table, or stacking on a pallet; staging a cage of mats near the table or into a lift table if using a mat rolling machine; placing mats rubber side up to manually roll them or using a foot pedal to roll with a machine; monitoring quality during rolling and segregating mats that do not meet quality standards (stains, gum stains, rips, tears, holes, wet mats); verifying mats by size, color, and type, and placing them on correct storage shelves; maneuvering full and empty carts; maintaining a safe and clean work environment; and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include the ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions; basic math skills; good verbal and/or written communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; and reliable attendance. Work is based on a shift schedule, which may include weekends, and overtime may be required.

Work environment involves a warehouse setting with exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold, dust, and noise. The position involves repetitive motions, bending, reaching, pulling, twisting, lifting (up to approximately 300 lbs), and standing or walking for extended periods.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
