Job Summary

The Loader Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment safely, maintaining and securing all equipment as per policies, procedures, and manuals.

Job Responsibilities

1. Operate front-end loader to lift and transport bulk materials, feed conveyors, hoppers, and load trucks or railcars.
2. Start engine, shift gears, and operate loader controls.
3. Lower, tilt, and move the loader bucket as needed for operations.
4. Verify raw material quantities and maintain quality standards.
5. Perform routine maintenance on loaders.
6. Ensure plant compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
7. Participate in minor maintenance and visual evaluations.
8. Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve performance.
9. Follow safety rules and wear proper safety equipment.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual skills are a plus.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to extreme weather, noise, and outdoor environment.
• Must wear protective equipment at all times.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk, sit, lift, push, pull, and climb.
• Lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
