Job Summary: The Operator/Lineman II, under direct supervision from Construction Foreperson/Supervisor, is responsible for installing and repairing aerial and underground communication lines, operating equipment and assembling materials necessary for outside plant (OSP) construction tasks associated with construction work orders. Operates and assists with the maintenance of construction equipment. Able to perform basic troubleshooting of construction equipment.
Qualifications Requirements:
a. Education: High School or Equivalent.
b. Experience Level: 1 year of construction experience in the telecom industry is required.
c. Skills Summary:
The ability to safely work and communicate with construction team members.
Complete documentation in a timely and professional manner.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Work Zone Traffic Certification.
Working aloft and confined space training.
