Overview

Location: Wichita, KS

Reports To: Foreman

Seeking an individual to perform various duties at the sand plant facility, including equipment operation, loading/unloading, and other plant-related tasks. Must be dedicated, willing to learn, and eager to build a career while maintaining high safety standards. This is an entry-level equipment operator position, and training will be considered for the right candidate.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Unload rail cars.
• Drive a water truck.
• Operate skid steer and mini excavator.
• Assist with daily production and plant operations.
• Support plant supervisor with maintenance and upkeep.
• Inspect all areas of the plant for maintenance, repairs, and screen changes.
• Detect safety hazards and malfunctions, responding appropriately.
• Follow directions accurately.
• Work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols per MSHA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Ability, Skills & Knowledge

• Experience with large aggregate equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of welding and mechanics is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• MSHA certification is preferred.
