Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for an Operator-In-Training at our ECI facility in Westover, MD. This 3-year program includes on the job training, an independent study program, and professional in-house mentoring and coaching.

Starting salary is $41,736.24, with excellent benefits. During the 3-year period, there will be periodic pay raises based on motivation and performance. Successful graduates of the program will be offered Operator positions with MES.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: HS Diploma or GED and a driver's license with less than 5 points.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 3-year Operator-In-Training program with on-the-job training, independent study and in-house mentoring.
• Position will evolve to Operator roles after successful program completion; contingent offers may be extended.
• Employment is contingent upon successful pre-employment screens including background check and drug/alcohol screening.
