Job summary

SolveNow Inc. in Twin Falls, Idaho is seeking a plant support worker to help maintain equipment and support servicing work in the water/wastewater plant.

You will operate treatment facilities to control flow, monitor gauges, collect samples, perform routine lab tests, and keep shift logs. The role emphasizes safety, following oral and written directions, and building cooperative relationships with the team.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of principles, methods, and tools in engine and pump operations and general maintenance.
• Practice safe work methods and basic biological and chemical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Learns and gains skills involving maintenance of equipment and servicing work in the plant.
• Operates treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water/wastewater, sludge, and effluent.
• Operates valves and gates manually or by remote control; starts and stops pumps, engines, and generators to control and adjust flow.
• Monitors gauges, meters, and control panels; observes, reports, and logs abnormalities.
• Collects samples and performs routine laboratory tests and analyses; performs routine maintenance and custodial duties.
• Understands and carries out oral and written directions; establishes cooperative relationships and performs other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications

Hourly pay is higher if applicant has already obtained a CDL or has obtained state wastewater certification.

• Monitors gauges, meters, and control panels Observes and reports abnormalities to supervisor Maintains shift log and records meter and gauge readings.
• Collects samples and performs routine laboratory tests and analyses Performs routine maintenance functions and custodial duties Understands and carries out oral and written directions
• Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with those contacted during the course of work Performs other duties as required
