Job summary

WhiteWater is seeking an Operator III, Wastewater to operate and maintain facilities and support the Operations Lead Operator and Supervisor. The role includes night and weekend on-call coverage as needed.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least five years in wastewater, a valid 5C license (or ability to obtain within six months), and strong communication and computer skills. The position is based in the Northeast with potential on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in wastewater field or related industry.
• Must possess a valid active 5C Wastewater Operator License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Demonstrated communication skills.
• Must be computer literate in Windows and MS Office.
• Available after hours and on-call work as required.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• OSHA 10 General Industry Certification or ability to obtain during pre-employment.
• DOT medical card required or able to obtain; pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid US Driver's License.

Wastewater Operator Position Summary

The Operator III, Wastewater will operate and maintain assigned facilities and to actively support the Operations Lead Operator & Supervisor. The Operator will be part of an on-call rotation requiring night and weekend coverage as needed.

Hiring Requirements / Preferences for Wastewater Operator:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum of three (5) years' experience in Wastewater field or related industry required.
• Must possess a minimum, valid active 5C Wastewater Operator License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Demonstrated communication skills.
• Must be computer literate in Windows and MS Office.
• Must be available after hours and on call work as required.
• Must possess knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• OSHA 10 General Industry Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).
• Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid US Driver's License.
