Job Description Summary

Responsible for machine prep, operation of auxiliary equipment, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to meet production goals.

Job Description Details

Production

• Proficient in all operator 1 & 2 requirements
• Monitor and operate processing equipment with minimal supervision
• Assist higher-level operators and train lower-level operators
• Use measuring tools to ensure quality
• Operate material handling and processing equipment
• Update shop floor management systems
• Identify malfunctions and assist repairs
• Communicate with technicians for troubleshooting
• Perform basic preventative maintenance

Supply Raw Material

• Check and replenish supplies at workstations
• Transport materials as needed
• Notify supervisors of low supplies
• Identify and communicate raw material requirements

Quality and Testing

• Inspect and test products for quality
• Report and handle non-conforming products
• Rework or isolate defective items
• Record data accurately
• Identify substandard raw materials

Other Responsibilities

• Participate in activities like 6S, meetings, cross-training

Special Job Dimensions
