Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking an Operator II - TCC Assembly on 1st shift in Wooster, OH. You will prepare machines, monitor production, perform operations and inspect parts to ensure quality.

You will follow safety rules, support maintenance to prevent downtime, and use PPE. Required: high school diploma or GED, English communication, ability to operate medium complex machinery, and legal work status in the US. Our benefits include health, life, and 401k options.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English.
• Ability to operate medium complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information.
• Check production status within and in between each production sequence and taking action in case of deviations.
• Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes.
• Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts and follow proper protocol.
• Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information

Your Qualifications

Preferred

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience of operating machines in a manufacturing environment
