Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking an Operator II (Linefeeder) for the 3rd shift in Wooster, OH. You will prepare machines, set up tooling, and parametrize according to work orders to support timely production.

You will monitor production, inspect parts for defects, assist with maintenance, and ensure PPE compliance. Starting wage is $22.55/hour with shift premiums; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English.
• Ability to operate medium complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information

Your Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English

• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience of operating machines in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with power tools
• Ability to read Blueprints
