Job summary

Jabil is seeking an advance operator to join the manufacturing facility in the United States. You will operate injection molding and assembly equipment, ensure product quality, and support safe production processes.

The role requires 2-3 years of manufacturing experience, familiarity with GMP, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office. Teamwork and adherence to safety policies are essential.

• Able to stand/walk for long periods.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and Work Instructions.

• Good communication skills in English (written & spoken)
• Experience with scale, tape gun and pallet jack; SAP and Office familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually monitor the molding process and inspect product quality and packaging.
• Stock materials at the machine and assist with daily supplies.
• Work with Operator III to maintain safe and efficient production.
• Follow operating policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (FDA/OSHA).
• Participate in safety and quality programs; complete assigned training as needed.

JOB SUMMARY

Advance operator that can be assigned to and work center in the facility and successfully operate the equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform the duties of the Operator position which include but not limited to: -Visually monitor the molding process to ensure proper procedure, pack parts from injection molding and assembly machines and inspect general product quality and packaging to ensure they meet specifications.
• Ability to change and stock materials at the machine (bags, daily supplies, etc.)
• Employee will work in concert with the Operator III ensuring safe and efficient production.
• Employee will read, comprehend, and maintain the operating policies and procedures of the company as well as the requirements specified by FDA, OSHA, and other governmental agencies.
• Employee will read and comprehend instructions and written procedures.
• Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned from time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position..
• Fosters teamwork within the company: Develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments.
• Completes all required training as assigned
• Conducts all job functions in a safe manner

JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing role in a similar industry/environment.
• Ability to spend long hours walking and standing
• Must have familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices as well as current Work Instruction and Product Specifications.
• Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to work well with others at all levels
• Experience in the use of scale, tape gun and pallet jack.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with a good command of the English language
• Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), SAP and e-mail skills preferred

The hourly pay range for this role is $17.12 - $30.82. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
