Join Our Team as Operator II, Manufacturing - 2nd Shift at Thermo Fisher Scientific

We are hiring for the Operator II, Manufacturing - 2nd Shift position at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment to assemble medical products, adhering to strict safety and GMP standards.

Environmental Conditions

• Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
• Adherence to GMP Safety Standards
• Cleanroom protocol: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc.
• Use of PPE including safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs
• Standing for the full shift

Work Schedule

Second Shift (Afternoons): Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM. Eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Role Responsibilities

• Manually assemble tubing and connectors for medical use
• Read and follow manufacturing drawings and SOPs
• Manufacture bags according to blueprints
• Maintain accurate GMP-compliant documentation
• Perform visual inspections and report issues
• Participate in continuous improvement activities like Lean and Kaizen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of work experience; experience in a cGMP environment preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Follow safety protocols and drive quality
• Physical ability to stand, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Physical and Work Environment

• Work in a controlled cleanroom environment
• Specific gowning requirements
• Use PPE and understand chemical hygiene
