Job Purpose
Execute production schedules at rated throughput to meet quality, safety, cost, and delivery standards.
Essential Functions
- Execute the daily production schedule in multiple production areas as a process owner
- Ensure timely and accurate production of product, including setup of equipment and supplies, to maintain processing standards
- Complete process and operational checks independently
- Train, coach, and mentor Operator I personnel in specific equipment or production areas
- Follow finished product and traceability system protocols in production areas
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery safely and effectively
- Handle ingredients properly, including staging, measuring, and mixing
- Complete all necessary paperwork according to company standards
- Adhere to cleaning procedures and allergen control guidelines
- Take corrective actions based on audits and supervisor instructions
- Investigate issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions
- Address food safety and quality deficiencies promptly
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to environmental health and safety policies
- Participate in mandatory training programs
- Serve as backup for Operator I in all areas
- Comply with all food safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of production procedures
- 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing preferred
- Machine operator experience
- Intermediate HMI experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication with peers and leadership
- Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain confidentiality
- Adaptability to change and multitasking skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and independent worker
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:25 pm - 6:30 am. Shift Differential!
