Job Description:

Working under general supervision and following specific procedures, the operator may perform assembly, weld, x-ray, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, electronic systems, and related medical device assemblies. The role involves routine assignments with detailed instructions and more complex tasks referred to a supervisor or senior personnel within the department.

Internal Goals/Requirements:
  • Adhere to training on good documentation practices and work instructions.
  • Show enthusiasm for learning new processes.
  • Complete OpEx training (Production Excellence Principles).
  • Hold multiple process certifications/proficiencies (>5) or at least 1 certification in complex processes (e.g., Wire Bond, Laser Welding).
  • Maintain consistent quality and efficiency over more than 1 year.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation for additional certifications and daily duties.
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Consistently practice good documentation and influence others to do the same.
  • Occasionally perform peer training.
  • Complete 5S audits as scheduled.
  • Propose at least 3 ideas to improve safety, quality, delivery, or cost, with at least 1 idea implemented.
  • Participate actively in performance meetings.
