Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking an Operator II-Granulation to operate, clean, and assemble granulation equipment in a cGMP environment. The role may rotate to other manufacturing or packaging areas based on business needs.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related pharmaceutical manufacturing experience. Training on SOPs and strict adherence to safety policies are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Equivalent education, training, or experience will be considered.
• 3–5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, biochemical, or food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience working in a cGMP-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, disassemble, clean, and reassemble granulation equipment.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are cleaned between batches to prevent cross-contamination and maintain GMP compliance.
• Monitor process parameters to ensure consistency and product quality - Perform visual inspections to identify defects or irregularities.
• Read, review, and train on SOPs using internal systems.
• Complete documentation and support production metrics as required.
• Build effective working relationships across teams.
• Work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
• Follow all Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Job Description

The Manufacturing Operator II – Granulation is responsible for operating, cleaning, disassembling, and reassembling granulation equipment in accordance with applicable cGMPs and SOPs. Equipment may include low and high shear mixers, mills, and fluid bed dryers. In this role, the incumbent may rotate to other Manufacturing or Packaging departments based on business needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, disassemble, clean, and reassemble granulation equipment.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are cleaned between batches to prevent cross-contamination and maintain GMP compliance.

Experience & Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and occasionally move drums weighing up to 300 lbs.
• Ability to work safely with heavy equipment.
• Regularly stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle equipment and tools.
• Good vision, hearing, and communication abilities required.
• May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must not be allergic to chemicals or bio substances found in production environments.

Shift Details

• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM - Schedule: Monday – Thursday (4 x 10-hour shifts)
