Operator II- Glencoe, MN

Job Summary
The Operator role has active, hands-on involvement and daily presence within the facility with various activities. The Warehouse role primary work functions include but are not limited to picking and staging orders, loading and unload trucks/trailers, properly storing finished feed and ingredients, operating the packing line, and daily housekeeping activities. The position works closely with production and maintenance colleagues to determine daily workflow and request/report and repairs. Additionally, the role interfaces closely with the site Quality Assurance Manager, reporting any quality concerns. Understands and follows company policies and procedures pertinent to the role.

Job Description

  • Active, hands-on involvement and daily presence within the facility during scheduled shift of work.
  • Check daily orders and determine order to be picked and staged.
  • Load company loads, customer loads, and LTL carriers as needed.
  • Unload trucks as they come in.
  • Properly store finished feed and ingredients as they are received or manufactured according to Safety and Quality guidelines.
  • Operate the packing line to package finished feed or ingredients, following the schedule provided.
  • Through the day monitor housekeeping activities required for the area and clean as needed.
  • Help with trouble shooting issues with batches, yields, and bagging problems
  • Help in production as needed
  • Monitor the workplace for improvements and safety concerns
  • Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay for this position is expected to be:

$18-$22/hr
